Chicora is a Small Professional Service Firm (SPSF) which was established in early 2017 and is dedicated to making a name for itself as a reliable leader in providing innovative transportation solutions.
Our team has extensive experience in delivering Transportation Design, Contract Administration, Contract Inspection, Civil Design, and Traffic Control Services due to our time spent within the NCDOT.
Our teams have substantial experience in meeting the demands of projects while focusing specifically on their expertise. Our staff are very knowledgeable. At CHICORA we navigate obstacles and challenges all the while achieving major accomplishments through the utilization of new processes and technology which adds to our portfolio of construction inspection experience.
Our team has gained pertinent experience while working with NCDOT contracts, NC State Government Contracts, Federal Government Contracts, and NC Municipalities Contracts.
In order to achieve a well-maintained working relationship with our clients and to uphold their standards to successfully deliver projects, our team will utilize all their resources to ensure the success of their projects.

Traffic Control Management = Safe Construction Zones
At CHICORA we provide Work Zone Supervisors, Installers, and Flaggers on every project who have been professionally certified. Our team is trained to install and monitor work zones for the safety of our clients and the traveling public. Safety is the upmost importance to us!
It is our mission that every employee goes home to their families every night after a day's work. We are a DBE firm and are Prequalified with the NCDOT to provide traffic control on their projects.
Currently we have an array of clients including the NCDOT Maintenance Divisions, Heavy Highway Paving Contractors, Highway Utility Contractors, and Selective Tree Removal Contractors.
